A Perfect Sales Letter which is Legally correct (HOPPP)

So, as we are done with both the legal as well as illegal aspects of the sales letters along with the features of the sales letters, now let’s discuss about the components of a PERFECT SALES LETTER. So, we’ll come to know about the important components which make the Sales Letter a Perfect Sales Letter. So here, all we need to keep in mind is: HOPPP

Ø  H for HEADLINE: Significance of a headline in a direct mail advertisement is equal to the importance of head in the human body. It makes the early introduction and gets you pulled in. So it is critical to have a headline which is intriguing, so that it can just catch the mind of the reader and make him to read it out.

Ø  O for OFFER: So, after gaining the reader’s attention, you need to make the reader buy you product. And as the reader starts reading the letter, he starts searching for the benefits for him. So what you need to do is to highlight all the advantages quickly.

Ø  P for PROOF: One more thing is there which you are required to do in the body of the letter. What is that? That is to make the reader believe whatever is written in the sales letter. And you need to provide them with proper proof to ensure that they are safe such as by providing the money back guarantee option.

Ø  P for PERSUADE TO ACTION: There is a very important thing to do in-between the body of the sales letter that you have to make or persuade your client to act after reading the letter. Very importantly, you need to mention that how they are supposed to act either by just making a call or they need to visit a store.

Ø  P for POSTSCRIPT: So, at last, you need to add a postscript to your sales letter, because as the reader is done with the reading and must be thinking to act. Now, you have to make him to act just RIGHT NOW. So, which means, you need to give him a kick by writing such as if you will call right now, you will receive something extra, etc. (about money, 2016)
